My name is Samantha Mehaffey, I’m a wife and a mother of five.  My husband was in the Navy for 8 years, and we had two of our children while he was still in service, the third, fourth, and fifth were born in our home with midwives after his naval service ended. I started my journey as a doula and received my Bachelor of Science in Midwifery at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery. I am a Certified Professional Midwife, and Licensed Midwife who credentialed in 2023. I am the owner of Your Cherished Birth currently serving clients in the Battle Creek & Kalamazoo surrounding areas. I also serve as a member on the board of the Michigan Midwives Association and contribut to building community with michigan midwives.
